From Little Rock
We live in Bryant, Arkansas, a suburb of Little Rock about seven miles to the southwest. To get to our house, head west from Little Rock on Interstate 30 like you’re going to Benton. (Or Texas, if you prefer the bigger picture.) Get off at exit #123 and move to the right lane of the frontage road as soon as possible. Take the first right onto Marketplace Ave. in front of the Ashley furniture store. Go past Wal-Mart and the road will end at a stop sign, where you turn right onto Highway 5. Go for about a quarter-mile and take the first left onto Stoneybrook Dr. Take the first left again onto Pinnacle Dr. and drive to the end; we’re the last house on the right.
Here’s an approximate map from Google that will get you to our street. The exact directions they chose aren’t the same as mine because the interstate construction has moved the exit back a little bit, but that should show you where we are.
From Elsewhere
From Memphis, take Interstate 40 west to Little Rock. Take Interstate 440 south around Little Rock, and then Interstate 30 toward Texarkana, and proceed as above. It’s about a two and a half hour drive.
From North Mississippi, we usually go through Memphis. It’s about five hours from Starkville.
From Central/South Mississippi, take Interstate 20 across the river at Vicksburg, then go north on Highway 65 at Tallulah. Take this highway all the way north to Little Rock, watching for left turns at Lake Providence, LA, and Lake Village, AR, and for the name change to Interstate 530 when you get to Pine Bluff. When you get to Little Rock, take Interstate 30 west toward Texarkana, and proceed as above. It’s about a five hour drive from Jackson.
